About the Role
The Company is seeking a Chief Finance Officer (CFO) to provide strategic leadership and oversight of all financial operations. The CFO will be responsible for ensuring fiscal integrity, regulatory compliance, and long-term financial planning in alignment with the organization's goals. Key duties include leading the development and management of the annual budget, overseeing accounting and other financial operations, and ensuring compliance with all financial regulations. Applicants for the CFO position at the company should have a Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or a related field, with an MBA preferred. A CPA or CPFO certification is required, along with a minimum of 7 years' experience in government finance and at least 3 years in a direct supervisory role. The role demands a professional with a strong background in strategic financial leadership, demonstrated integrity, and public sector financial acumen. The CFO will face challenges such as fiscal constraints, the need for operational efficiencies in a consolidated government, and the imperative of transparency and public trust.
