Manager, Facilities & Operations at Fidelity Investments summary:

The Manager, Facilities & Operations leads the delivery of amenities and hospitality services to create a vibrant workplace experience for Fidelity associates and visitors. They oversee vendor management, food and beverage, fitness and wellness programs, and support corporate real estate initiatives across regional sites in Durham, NC and Jacksonville, FL. This role requires strong leadership, customer service expertise, and the ability to collaborate across teams to ensure a safe and productive environment.

The Role

In this role your primary responsibility will be to provide a magnetic and vibrant workplace experience for all Fidelity associates and visitors by leading the delivery of on-site amenities and hospitality services.

You will provide vendor oversight and deliver on the strategy that is set for food and beverage, fitness and wellness programs. You will also support multifaceted real estate product and service initiatives.

This role is in Durham, NC and has regional responsibilities and personnel in Durham, NC and Jacksonville, FL. This team of on-site associates is highly visible and readily available to respond to associate needs.

The Expertise and Skills You Bring

  • Undergraduate degree or relevant experience.
  • Proven track record in hospitality or customer service field is required.
  • Corporate real estate knowledge desired, particularly in building operations.
  • Familiarity with the financial services industry is valued.
  • Experience developing a team.
  • Experience with vendor management, including performance accountability, contract compliance and risk management.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
  • Excel at meeting new people and networking and have a compassionate, thoughtful, and respectful demeanor.
  • Excellent communication and listening skills and an ability to influence others.
  • Direct a team focused on delivering quality services that enable the success of Fidelity businesses.
  • Demonstrate integrity, dependability, responsibility, accountability, self-awareness, and work ethic.
  • Apply innovative thinking to tackle problems.
  • Proactively find opportunities to improve, seek feedback, track issues for resolution, and measure engagement efforts.
  • Partner with other real estate teams to align on priorities, develop and implement regional programs and projects.
  • Cultivate key partnerships with Security, Technology and other groups to collectively ensure that business needs are met.
