PURPOSE RESPONSIBILITY

  • Develop and lead a comprehensive marketing and communications strategy to drive membership growth, brand awareness, and player engagement.
  • Align all marketing initiatives with Center Court’s mission, vision, and business objectives.
  • Serve as the brand steward—communicating the club’s values through impactful storytelling and consistent messaging.
  • Position Center Court as the premier pickleball destination across all communities and locations.

PRODUCT RESPONSIBILITY

  • Build and maintain a powerful and cohesive brand identity across all marketing channels and physical locations.
  • Create engaging promotional content for programs, leagues, tournaments, and events—including print, digital, video, and social assets.
  • Oversee digital platforms such as the website, email marketing, paid media, and social media accounts.
  • Ensure all marketing collateral reflects the club’s premium experience and vibrant community culture.
  • Leverage photography, videography, and graphic design to highlight members, ambassadors, and club experiences.
  • Optimize all digital content for search engines (SEO) to improve online visibility, increase web traffic, and attract prospective members.
  • Implement SEO best practices including keyword research, on-page optimization, and local search enhancements.

PROCESS RESPONSIBILITY

  • Design and execute integrated campaign calendars that support programming schedules and marketing goals.
  • Manage the marketing budget and allocate resources effectively to maximize ROI.
  • Implement tracking and feedback systems to evaluate marketing performance and guide future strategies.
  • Work cross-functionally with membership, programming, and operations teams to ensure aligned messaging and timely promotions.
  • Maintain efficient workflows with vendors, freelancers, and internal teams to ensure high-quality, on-time content delivery.

PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITY

  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) such as lead generation, member acquisition/retention, and campaign reach.
  • Analyze data from digital platforms, CRM systems, and surveys to assess success and optimize strategy.
  • Provide regular performance reports to leadership and adjust campaigns based on trends and results.
  • Continuously explore new platforms, trends, and tools to keep Center Court’s marketing efforts ahead of the curve.
  • Use performance insights to test and scale successful campaigns while phasing out underperforming ones.

PEOPLE RESPONSIBILITY

  • Build and lead a high-performing marketing and communications team.
  • Collaborate with internal departments and external partners to deliver on brand goals.
  • Cultivate relationships with vendors, media outlets, influencers, and sponsors to support joint marketing initiatives.
  • Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and accountability within the marketing function.
  • Provide mentorship and growth opportunities for marketing staff, interns, and creative partners.
Requirements:

IDEAL ATTRIBUTES

  • 5+ years of experience in marketing, branding, or communications, preferably in sports, fitness, hospitality, or lifestyle industries.
  • Strong leadership skills with a track record of building and scaling successful marketing teams.
  • Deep knowledge of digital marketing strategies, content creation, and SEO best practices.
  • Data-driven mindset with the ability to analyze performance metrics and optimize campaigns.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a flair for storytelling and brand voice.
  • Proficient in tools like Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, Meta Ads Manager, Google Analytics, and email platforms.
  • A passion for community building and a genuine interest in pickleball, health, and wellness.
  • Flexible, collaborative, and eager to innovate in a fast-paced, growing organization.
