Description:

We are seeking a polished, professional receptionist to serve as the first point of contact at our law firm. The ideal candidate will be friendly, organized, and dependable, with excellent communication skills and a commitment to client service. This is a full-time, in-person role at our downtown Chicago office in The Loop.

Key Responsibilities:

• Greet clients and visitors in a courteous and professional manner
• Answer and route incoming phone calls
• Manage front desk operations, including mail, deliveries, and scheduling
• Maintain a tidy and welcoming reception area as well as two conference rooms
• Handle all incoming/outgoing mail and packages
• Prepare and mail out monthly birthday cards
• Put in service requests and work orders with building maintenance on occasion
• Document staff in times, out times, and lunch breaks
• Provide general administrative support to attorneys and staff as needed
• Handle confidential information with discretion

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in a receptionist or front desk role (law firm or professional services setting preferred)
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite functions and office phone systems
• Intermediate knowledge of Windows, Excel, Word and how to work with PDFs
• Professional appearance and demeanor
